China Archaeological Museum's "A Million Years of Human History" Exhibition Opens. Today (September 14), the China Archaeological Museum's special exhibition "A Million Years of Human History" officially opened, displaying stone tools and animal fossils from the Nihewan site group dating back about 1.76 million years, as well as skulls dating back about 1 million years from the Xuetangliangzi site, contemporaneous hammered stone tools, and animal fossils such as saber-toothed elephants, providing archaeological evidence of a million years of human history on the land of China.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated on September 13 that in the past week, Russian forces have taken control of five settlements in the Donetsk region and carried out 39 group strikes against Ukrainian military-industrial enterprises, energy facilities, and other targets. The UK Foreign Office responded that the Russian accusations were groundless.
Palestinian media reported today (September 14) that Israeli forces bombed the Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City early this morning, killing at least nine people, including women and children. Israeli Airstrikes in Southern Lebanon; Hezbollah Claims Dozens of Rockets Fired at Northern Israel. Tensions continue along the Israel-Lebanon border. The Israel Defense Forces stated on September 13 that Israeli warplanes bombed multiple Hezbollah rocket launch sites and other targets in southern Lebanon that day. Lebanese Hezbollah announced today that its members fired dozens of rockets at Israeli military bases and weapons depots in northern Israel.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated on September 13 regarding the recently published European Future Competitiveness Strategy Report that changes in the world landscape and the rise of Asia are realities that must be faced, but the EU is moving towards forming opposing blocs. Europe is therefore suffering huge competitiveness losses, and if it continues on a closed path, "there will be big problems."
