The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated today that 186 combat engagements occurred in frontline areas over the past day, and the Ukrainian army attacked concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons, and military equipment. In addition, Russia and Ukraine exchanged the remains of fallen soldiers again on June 16.
The United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution on June 16, declaring December 4 of each year as the "International Day Against Unilateral Coercive Measures." The resolution points out that unilateral coercive measures and related legislation violate international law and the UN Charter, and violate the norms and principles guiding peaceful relations between states. The resolution urges states not to adopt, enact, or implement any unilateral economic, financial, or trade measures that do not conform to international law and the UN Charter, and that hinder or impair the full realization of economic and social development of states, particularly developing countries.
