The China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing announced today (July 30) that in the first half of this year, the total social logistics in China reached 167.4 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.8%, continuing the relatively rapid growth trend observed since the fourth quarter of last year. In terms of logistics structure, the total logistics of industrial goods grew by 5.8% in the first half of the year. According to calculations by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, this amounts to nearly $104,000 in debt for every American. According to French media reports on July 29, communication infrastructure, including fiber optic cables, of three French telecom operators in at least six regions of France were deliberately damaged on the night of July 28, affecting fixed and mobile communication networks.
